"Calm Moments" (the "Service") is run by an individual developer under the brand "Empty Office". By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Meditation scenes that move with your breath, a breathing guide, a meditation timer, live-synthesised ambient sound and a sleep mode, in your browser or the Android app. Everything is currently free; see Pricing.
2. Purchases and licence (if paid content is offered in future)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, the Merchant of Record for all web orders. They handle payment, receipts and taxes, and their terms apply to the purchase.
In the apps, purchases are made through App Store or Google Play in-app purchase, under that store's terms.
Paid content is a licence to use digital content, not a transfer of ownership, for use by the buyer and their household. Keys may not be resold or shared publicly.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service unlawfully or interfere with or attack the site or servers.
4. Intellectual property
The code, artwork, scenes and sound design of the Service are made by the developer, who reserves all rights.
5. Health notice and disclaimer
This app is for relaxation only and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are struggling, please talk to a doctor or a mental-health professional; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
If you feel dizzy, tight-chested or unwell during a breathing exercise, stop and return to natural breathing.
Do not use the Service while driving, riding or operating machinery.
Use a comfortable, moderate volume in sleep mode to protect your hearing.
The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the Service.
6. Changes and termination
We may update the Service or these terms; significant changes will be announced on the site.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are not affected.
